What is Voices in Wartime?
Voices in Wartime is a new online community.
Publish your own writing and images. Engage with others by viewing
and commenting on their work. Act to create a less violent world and
reduce the collective trauma caused by war. Build a global campaign to
support the new documentary film, Poetry in Wartime.
 Painting by Hiroshima survivor Y.
Michitsugi

A documentary film to be released in Fall 2004. The words
of the poets used to distill the emotional essence of war. A visceral film
experience: eloquent poetry, a cascade of images, painful and moving stories, an
extraordinary soundtrack. An exploration of the perverse attraction and terrible
reality of war, the lasting personal and collective damage done by war, and how
we might imagine and create a world less prone to war. For more information >>>>>
