MISSION STATEMENT: 

is a non-profit, citizen-initiated community organization dedicated to educating ourselves as well as the greater community about local, national, and international issues that threaten peace and justice at home and abroad.

o We advocate nonviolent, proactive and creative approaches to human and environmental problems.

o We reject militarism, corporate corruption, and globalization by the economic elite at the expense of us all: native peoples, the poor of the world, and our common natural and ecological heritage.

o We are committed to discovering and walking the path to peace and justice and believe this can only be accomplished by joining with others in building a sense of community to sustain and nurture our concern for our extended human family, while recognizing our stewardship of the earth as a sacred trust.

o We encourage individual membership, working together and in subgroups, and encourage networking with other community groups in the spirit of consensus.
